Raymond Zavalla
Preconstruction Manager Helix Electric
Raymond Zavalla is a Pre-construction Manager for Helix Electric. Helix Electric is one of the largest non-merit electricians in the United States and in 2025 Helix Electric was named the 2025 ENR West Coast Specialty Contractor of the year.
Raymond’s career began as a United States Marine Corps Communications Officer. He served in multiple combat zones in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. When he left active duty, he spent over 7 years with United Construtciton as a Business Development Manager and spent about a year with Redwood Materials the DoD and commercial sales manager. He has been with Helix Electric for over two years and pursues and coordinates projects, in the multi-family, commercial, cold-storage, and mission critical data center projects. Raymond continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves, and he is a dad to his 6 year old daughter and two Boston Terriers.
