Estimating Manager The Newtron Group

Monte Hickingbottom is the Estimating Manager for Triad Electric & Controls’ Lake Charles division, part of The Newtron Group, a national leader in industrial electrical and instrumentation services. With a career that began in the field as an electrical helper and progressed to journeyman electrician, Monte now brings more than ten years of specialized industrial estimating experience to the pre-construction process. His work is heavily rooted in the petro-chemical and LNG sectors along the Gulf Coast, where project execution demands precision, adaptability, and strong coordination. Monte’s role spans estimating, procurement strategy, and contractual negotiations, and he has recently helped lead Triad’s entry into large commercial construction. His hands-on background and industry perspective provide practical insights into managing scope evolution, fragmented contracting, and design maturation in complex project environments.
