Chief Estimator Bradbury Stamm Construction

Joe graduated from Iowa State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and began work as a project engineer, estimator and project manager until he became Chief Estimator. The conversion to full-time estimating and preconstruction was a life and career changing experience. Since then, he also held other various titles from Regional Estimating Manager, Preconstruction Director, and Vice President of Preconstruction.

His professional career started in Des Moines, Iowa until he transferred to Boulder, Colorado in 1993, finally leaving the company in 2003. He then moved to Reno, Nevada in 2004. In 2010, the construction economy in Nevada forced him to look for work elsewhere. He found Bradbury Stamm Construction where he has worked ever since as a Vice President and Chief Estimator. He helped grow the company from an annual volume of $60 million in 2010 to over $600 million today.

Projects at Bradbury Stamm include virtually any type of construction including sports facilities, wastewater treatment plants, office buildings, K-12 schools, higher education, resorts, etc. to $300M throughout the state of New Mexico and beyond. Contracting methods include hard bid, qualifications-based bid, CM at risk and design build.

Joe joined the American Society of Professional Estimators in 1998 and earned his CPE in 1999. In 2008, he served on the national board as Second Vice President becoming national president in 2012. In 2017, Joe was elevated to Fellow Certified Professional Estimator.
