James Teague, P.E., is the Director of Preconstruction at Fessler & Bowman, where he leads preconstruction strategy across diverse civil and building projects. With more than a decade of experience in estimating, project planning, and early-phase risk management, James specializes in aligning design intent with constructible, cost-effective solutions. He works closely with owners, developers, designers, and project teams to drive clarity, budget accuracy, and informed decision-making for all project stakeholders.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, James has contributed to the successful delivery of numerous complex industrial, commercial, and public projects throughout the Southeast region. His transparent approach in the preconstruction industry improves project certainty, strengthens partnerships, and supports long-term client value. He is also committed to elevating preconstruction as a critical discipline by sitting on community college advisory boards and talking with students about the importance of preconstruction in the industry.
