Cody Stroud

Preconstruction Manager Triad Electric

Cody Stroud serves as the Pre-Construction Manager for Triad Electric & Controls, where he leads client engagement, early-phase project planning, bid strategy, and cost development for major industrial and commercial projects. In this role, Cody acts as the primary point of contact for owners and contractors during pre-construction, preparing detailed estimates, managing bid packages, evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals, and developing preliminary schedules that identify critical-path activities and long-lead materials. His approach emphasizes accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment to support informed client decision-making throughout project development.

Since 2016, Cody has also served as Triad’s Business Development Manager, where he has strengthened key relationships across Southwest Louisiana’s industrial market—refining, chemical, pulp and paper, commercial, and emerging energy sectors. His responsibilities span RFQ and proposal leadership, contract negotiation support, budgeting, strategic planning, community engagement, workforce development initiatives, and oversight of project coordination and invoicing processes. His work has played a significant role in expanding Triad’s presence and maintaining long-term partnerships across the Gulf Coast.

Before joining Triad, Cody served as the Director of Workforce Development for Associated Builders & Contractors – Pelican Chapter, managing regional craft-training initiatives, recruiting efforts, NCCER training programs, contractor outreach, and major education-industry partnerships throughout Southwest Louisiana. He remains engaged in several advisory and leadership roles, including serving on the McNeese State University Construction Management Advisory Committee, ABC committees, and the SWLA Chamber Foundation Board.
Cody holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from McNeese State University, where he was also the starting quarterback for the McNeese Cowboys from 2009–2013. His background as an athlete contributes to the leadership style he brings to his work—team-focused, driven, and calm under pressure.

Across all roles, Cody is recognized for his ability to connect people, processes, and project requirements—bringing together strategic planning, relationship management, and technical understanding to deliver high-value pre-construction solutions for clients across the region.
