In 2025, MeltPlan entered the market as a newly founded AI-driven planning platform. As a young start-up, their goal was clear: get in front of the right construction decision‑makers and validate their product in a space where meaningful conversations could shape their early growth.
Advancing Preconstruction provided an ideal entry point.
The Challenge
Early-stage startups often struggle to:

MeltPlan needed a focused environment where they could learn, gather feedback, and speak directly with the professionals shaping preconstruction workflows.
The Starting Point (2025):
We partnered with MeltPlan to onboard them as a first‑time exhibitor at Advancing Preconstruction 2025. This allowed them to test the event, reduce risk, and establish visibility without the commitment of a full commercial package.
Almost immediately, they realized that the true value of the event wasn’t high-footfall expo traffic, it was being in front of exactly the right audience: estimators, preconstruction directors, and senior construction leaders.
These conversations became the foundation of their early market traction.
The Momentum:
Since that first appearance, MeltPlan has gained strong traction. The company raised a $10M seed round in February 2026 led by Bessemer Venture Partners, bringing total funding to around $14M. They have also begun piloting their platform with major contractors including DPR Construction and Innovo Group.
The Current Reality (2026):
After seeing the quality of conversations and the alignment of the audience, MeltPlan has increased their engagement and are now collaborating with us on a bespoke Estimating-focused workshop with key decision-makers. They are now presenting alongside leading contractors such as The Boldt Company, Consigli Construction Co., Inc., and Alberici, positioning themselves as a serious player in the space.
